Born in Boston, Russell Davis’ interest in food began early, surrounded by the traditional Southern Italian food of his mother’s family. His passion brought him to New Orleans, where he honed his craft for years. In 2015, Russell and his wife opened their first joint venture, Eliza Restaurant & Bar. Named for their daughter, Eliza was quickly embraced by local diners for its gracious service style and commitment to local seafood and scratch cooking. Russell’s menu specializes in contemporary Creole cuisine serving classics such as Louisiana Crab Cakes, Shrimp Remoulade and Fried Green Tomatoes.

The second restaurant from James Beard Award-winning chef Tandy Wilson, Mop / Broom Mess Hall (read as Mop and Broom) will serve Americana cooking with Southern sensibilities out of the former Southern Broom & Mop Co building in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. Mop / Broom Mess Hall is the result of Tandy’s shared traditions influenced by his Nashville roots and experiences in the culinary community throughout the years. An unfussy, come-as-you-are concept where the offerings will be welcoming and craveable, Mop & Broom Mess Hall epitomizes a meal at Tandy’s home.
